Hannah McQuay

RSW

Location: Winnipeg

Hannah believes that healing happens in safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and accepted. She values building strong therapeutic relationships and uses co-regulation to help clients feel grounded, supported, and empowered in their stories.

Her approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, meeting each person where they are.

Hannah practices from an integrative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based perspective, drawing on evidence-based approaches to create care that is tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and strengths. Her work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, somatic approaches, and Narrative Therapy. With a specialization in trauma- informed practice, Hannah helps clients navigate challenges with empathy, curiosity, and respect.

Hannah earned her Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary and is a Registered Social Worker with the Manitoba College of Social Workers. She also earned a Diploma in Animal Assisted Wellness from Lakeland College and is currently completing her Child-Centered Animal-Assisted Therapy Certification. By integrating her clinical knowledge with animal-assisted interventions,  Hannah partners with animals to support the diverse needs of her clients while honouring the healing potential of the human-animal bond.
