Therapist Jobs Winnipeg

We are looking for a compassionate, creative, and child-centered Play Therapist to join our growing team on a part time basis. This role is ideal for a therapist who is passionate about supporting children, youth, and families through connection, creativity, and evidence based therapeutic approaches.

Position Details

Part Time, Contract
Some evenings and weekends required
Flexible scheduling available

Responsibilities

• Provide play therapy sessions for children and youth

• Develop individualized treatment goals and therapeutic plans

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers

• Collaborate with the Lil’ Steps Wellness team and participate in case discussions when needed

• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging therapeutic environment for clients

• Support children experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, behavioural concerns, trauma, grief, and other mental health needs

Qualifications

• Master’s level degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field

• Registered or eligible for registration with an appropriate professional body in Manitoba

• Experience working with children and youth

• Training or experience in play therapy is considered an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment

• Comfortable working some evenings and weekends
