Lesson Objective
The goal of Session Seven will be to understand what cognitive distortion or brain tricks are and how they influence our thinking, feelings/emotions, and behaviours. The students will learn the common cognitive distortions, or brain tricks. connected to anxiety. Once they recognize their thought patterns, and how the brain can trick them at times, they will then be able to integrate the art of mindfulness. The students will learn the strategy of how to sit like a pig in mud.
