Dominique Vincent

Dominique is a student in the Master of Arts Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced) with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology/Criminology from the University of Manitoba, and is a student member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.

Dominique works with children, youth, and adults, supporting individuals navigating concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges.

She takes a person-centred and humanistic-experiential approach, grounded in trauma-informed care. Dominique draws from a range of evidence-based modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and strength-based practices. She values a holistic understanding of each individual and recognizes the importance of cultural humility, approaching every client with curiosity and respect for their unique experiences and identities.

Dominique is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. She believes in meeting people where they are, walking alongside them in their journey, and empowering them to build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. Her work is rooted in empathy, genuineness, respect, and unconditional positive regard, guiding her in supporting clients as they move toward greater well-being and personal growth.
