BEING ME Parent & Child Workshop

The BEING ME Parent & Child Workshop is a three-hour, in-person workshop designed for children (ages 6-12) and their parents/caregivers to understand and normalize worry, fear, and anxiety.

You & your child will each learn:

  • How to recognize anxiety and what it feels like in the body

  • The body's alarm response: fight, flight, or freeze 

  • Common childhood worries & fears 

  • Co-regulation & self-regulation

  • How to use the Goat Worry Box

  • Piggy Belly Breathing and how to use it 

  • The "Sit In" method, also known as “sitting like a pig in mud”

Not only will you receive hands-on learning with your child, but you will also help strengthen your relationship and connection.

Each child registered for the workshop will also receive a Lil’ Steps Wellness Toolkit to take home with them.
