Michelle Ham

Michelle Ham has expanded her reach to therapy after a decade in the field of social work. With a heart for all seasons of life, Michelle welcomes clients of every age in their journey toward healing and growth, especially as they navigate life's many transitions. Her integrative and person-centred therapeutic approach emphasizes the importance of attachment and co-regulation, particularly when working with children and their caregivers, recognizing these as vital components of developmental and emotional well-being.

Michelle facilitates nervous system regulation across the lifespan and assists individuals in processing the broad spectrum of life's challenges. Employing techniques from Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Mindfulness, and somatic practices, Michelle customizes her approach to leverage the unique strengths and needs of each client. She views the therapeutic relationship as sacred, based on mutual respect and co-creation and focusing on the power of connectedness for transformative change.

Committed to neurodivergent affirming care, Michelle ensures her therapeutic environment is safe and welcoming for each of her clients. She fosters a practice that is inclusive and approaches every individual with the same level of curiosity and engagement. Residing and offering services on Treaty 1 territory, Michelle actively participates as an ally in the reconciliation process.

When stepping back from her professional role, Michelle delights in outdoor adventures with her partner, their two children, and a spirited puppy, embodying the principles of co-regulation and joy she instills in her practice. Her passions include a love for learning, culinary exploration, travel, music, and enjoying time with family and friends.
