Foster Parent Support | Being a foster parent comes with unique joys and challenges. This group is designed to provide a welcoming space where foster parents can connect with one another, share experiences, and gain practical tools to strengthen and empower their caregiving journey.

What to Expect

Throughout this program, you’ll take part in guided learning, practical activities, and group conversations that are tailored to the unique experience of foster parenting. Together, we’ll explore:

  • Understanding Trauma. How trauma affects children and ways to respond with empathy and support

  • Building Attachment. Practical strategies for fostering trust and healthy relationships

  • Culture & Intersectionality in Care. Recognizing and honoring each child’s identity and background

  • Self-Care for Caregivers. Tools to help you stay grounded, resilient, and supported in your role
