Alexa is a warm, knowledgeable therapist who is committed to creating a supportive space for healing and growth. With a blend of art, somatic, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), dialectical-behavioural (DBT), and play therapies, Alexa tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
Alexa’s professional background includes extensive experience in somatic therapies such as EMDR, along with a strong foundation in DBT and strengths-based approaches. Her work with diverse populations has deepened her cultural sensitivity, allowing her to offer inclusive and respectful support. She is particularly passionate about helping LGBTQIA+ individuals, those with ADHD or autism, and people facing trauma, women’s issues, and significant life transitions.
With her welcoming presence, extensive knowledge, and commitment to trauma-informed care, Alexa provides a warm, supportive space where clients of all ages can find guidance, resilience, and growth.
Alexa holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, is recognized as a Canadian Certified Counsellor, and is a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
