Brittany graduated from the Université de Saint-Boniface with her Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2020. She is a member of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba and has work experience in rural health care settings and emergency rooms as well as on the medical, surgical and rehab wards. Prior to completing her degree, Brittany was an Instructor Guard and Health Care Aid where she worked with individuals who all experienced unique challenges. She enjoyed developing connections through a strength-based approach with these children and adults. She also worked with the Canadian Red Cross on the Indigenous Program’s Virtual Operations Team, where she obtained her Psychosocial First Aid training.
Brittany is excited to further her education working towards completing her Child-Centred Animal Assisted Therapy certification. She has a strong passion for helping others and she is very excited to join the Lil’ Steps Wellness Team. Brittany is a firm believer that there is always one more thing to learn because life never stops teaching!
During her free time, Brittany loves spending time with her friends and family at the lake. She has a passion for everything and anything outdoors.
