Chelsea Gosselin
Outreach Worker
Over the last 12 years, Chelsea has worked with children, teens, & young adults in daycares and schools as well as in International outreach in Thailand. Chelsea is currently working towards completing her certification as a Child-Centered Animal-Assisted Learning Practitioner through the Child-Centered Animal-Assisted Therapy Association (CCAATA) with past animal training done alongside elephants, tigers, and canines.
Chelsea’s dog Winnie has been working closely with her since being rescued from a puppy mill at only six weeks old. In the past, Winnie has struggled with anxiety as well as losing her vision and recovering from a double eye removal in the summer of 2024. She is a registered animal worker and has worked with people who require emotional support or companionship. She has also accompanied Chelsea while completing her CCAATA training.
Chelsea enjoys travel, music, animals, and art. She even illustrated her first children's book, Hazelnut's Search for Belonging, for Lil' Steps Wellness in 2023! Chelsea is excited to combine her love of animals with her gift of working with and helping people.
