Christie Golebiowski

Dog Trainer/Consultant

Christie Golebiowsk has been working with dogs professionally since 2003 after graduating from the Veterinary Assistant Program at Robertson College and starting in veterinary care immediately following graduation.

Christie also has training at the Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer (ABDCT) as well as being certified in Canine Communications Studies/Behavior Therapy (CCSCBT) and Cooperative Paws Service Dog Coaching (SDC)

While puppy and behaviour training has been a strength of hers for many years, Christie is very excited to engage in new service dog, therapy dog, and animal assisted therapy training. She is shifting toward service dog training, specializing in anxiety & PTSD alerts including notifying to anxiety cues, nightmare interruption, and deep pressure therapy.

Christie takes pride in her two dogs Amaya, a 10-year-old Akita, and Harvest, a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd. Christie also owns two Guinea Pigs, Willow and Twitch with the newest addition of the family is Sage; a 6-month-old kitten reduced from a canola field near her home.

In her spare time she enjoys running and has completed multiple Half Marathons and 5K events. In the summer months, you will find her planting lilies while enjoying gardening, plucking carrots, and eating strawberries from her homegrown strawberry patch. Christie enjoys photography with sun dogs, sunsets, and sunrises on the Prairie Sky and enjoys spending time on any walking hiking trail.
