Gillian King

Gillian King is an art therapist and psychotherapist at Lil’ Steps Wellness in Winnipeg, MB. She supports children, teens, adults, and older adults (65+) who are navigating life transitions, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, burnout, and feelings of isolation. Her goal is to create a warm, creative, and empowering space where clients can find relief, inspiration, and connection.

Gillian draws on a range of approaches, including art therapy, play-based therapy, animal-assisted therapy, psychotherapy and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), letting her clients guide the choice of methods that resonate most with them. Gillian aims to create a welcoming and empowering environment where clients can find inspiration, reduce stress, and navigate life’s challenges.

Gillian’s practice is trauma-informed, client-centered, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we honour our strengths, stories, and self-expression.
