Gillian King
Gillian King works with children, teens, adults, and older adults (65+) who may be dealing with tough life transitions, grief, loss, loneliness, depression, anxiety, burnout, or feelings of isolation.
She has experience in art therapy, psychotherapy, and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy), letting her clients guide the choice of approaches and methods that resonate most with them. Gillian’s aim is to create a welcoming and empowering environment where clients can find inspiration, reduce stress, and navigate life’s challenges.
With extensive experience working with individuals living with physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease, Gillian ensures that sessions are tailored to each person’s unique needs. Her approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and focused on building upon each client’s strengths. Gillian has also offered virtual sessions along with home and site visits, including schools, long-term care homes, retirement homes, and healthcare facilities.
