Nicole has a passion for helping children and youth learn coping strategies for their struggles while building strength and understanding for themselves and those around them.

Nicole holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is recognized as a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She is a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Nicole has certifications, knowledge, and experience in play-based therapeutic strategies and cognitive-behavioural therapy.

As a Métis woman with a Francophone upbringing, Nicole has experience working with a diverse population, enhancing her understanding of the need for cultural sensitivity. She has a love for animals and the outdoors and has plans to start incorporating them both into her therapeutic work.

Nicole believes that learning therapeutic skills during a child’s developmental years can significantly improve their quality of life in adulthood. She provides a safe and non-judgmental space for children and teens to feel supported to talk about their experiences and learn the skills and tools they need to manage their emotions.
