Rikki Buck

Therapist; BSW, RSW (cand.)

Rikki is a compassionate, client-centred therapist who believes that healing happens best when people feel truly seen, safe, and understood. She works with children, teens, and adults, and is deeply honoured to walk alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and moments of growth.

Rikki’s work is grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that recognizes the resilience each person carries, even when things feel overwhelming or uncertain. With children & teens, she often incorporates play and creative expression as a way to build connection, foster emotional safety, and support communication in ways that feel natural and accessible. With teens & adults, she offers a supportive space to explore stress, identity, relationships, grief, trauma, and personal growth at a pace that feels right for you.

Animals are also an important part of both Rikki’s life and therapeutic approach, currently incorporating animals into her practice as part of my Animal-Assisted Therapy certification process. She believes animals have a powerful ability to foster connection, comfort, and emotional regulation, especially for children and those who may find traditional talk therapy challenging.
