Lori is a psychotherapist who works with adults and family members navigating complex emotional and relational challenges. She brings a thoughtful, engaged presence to therapy and works actively with clients to explore emotional patterns, relationships, and inner experience. Her approach is reflective and direct, helping people see themselves more clearly and make meaningful changes in how they live and relate.
Lori has extensive experience supporting individuals and families affected by addiction, as well as those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, aging, and life transitions. She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, psychodynamic, emotion-focused,cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and somatic (body-based/movement) therapies.
With over 25 years as a yoga instructor, Lori brings a lived understanding of the connection between body and mind. This embodied perspective informs her work with stress, trauma, and emotional regulation, supporting therapy that is grounded, attentive, and integrative. She offers a calm, nonjudgmental space where meaningful therapeutic work can take place, helping individuals and families take practical steps toward insight, growth, and wellness.
Lori expresses her love and gratitude for the land on which we live and for all those beings with whom we share. Especially remarkable, are her two therapy kittens, leaping, chirping reminders of the joy and love within us all.
