Melanie specializes in the treatment of mental health and trauma with a focus on decolonized and strengths-based approaches. She also has a passion for providing therapy services to women of all ages who are looking to regain their inner strength after experiencing challenging life transitions and trauma.

Melanie also provides clinical supervision to other mental health professionals. Specializing in Land-based Therapy, her services focus on holistic ways of helping. She believes in using a person-centered approach which focuses on the needs and strengths of the people she is working with.

Melanie is a proud Metis woman who completed her Master of Social Work with a focus on Indigenous Knowledge. She is a Registered Social Worker with 18 years of experience working in the areas of child welfare, addictions, public schools, and private practice. She is a skilled listener who values collaborative work towards change and empowerment.

Melanie is kind, welcoming, non-judgmental, and experienced. With a strength-based foundation, she specializes in providing decolonized services which acknowledges trauma from oppression and colonization. She provides holistic therapy, connecting body, mind, spirit and emotions
